Interior architectural elements with exceptional profile detail — ceiling coffers, domes, medallions, column capitals, and ornamental trim — fabricated to specification and delivered paint-ready.
Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) is a lightweight interior composite of gypsum and glass fiber, molded to a nominal 3/16" (5 mm) section and delivered paint-ready. At 1.5–2 lb/ft² — versus 6–8 lb/ft² for traditional plaster — it reproduces intricate ornamental profiles such as domes, coffers, capitals, and curved or radiused shapes, with a 0 flame / 0 smoke rating and minimal structural impact. Wilson Composites specifies GFRG under CSI Section 09 20 00.
Typical applications: ceiling coffers, domes, medallions, column capitals, cornices, ornamental trim, and curved interior statement elements for commercial interiors.
